HK Creative Events is an Oahu-based event company built around one idea: the small details are what people remember. Whether we’re running a photobooth, planning a full event from the ground up, or styling a space with custom decor, our approach stays the same — listen first, plan carefully, and show up ready to handle the details so you don’t have to.
Meet The Team
Meet Harrison & Karen Yoshishige
HK Creative Events started the way the best things often do — by accident. When we planned our own wedding to save money, it turned out beautifully, but we were so buried in logistics that we barely got to enjoy our own day. We didn’t want that to happen to anyone else.
The real turning point came with our daughter Emory’s first birthday. We wanted it to feel personal, so we designed the decorations and theme ourselves — and picked up a photobooth along the way, partly for the party, partly because we knew we’d use it for years of our own family memories to come. That party became the spark for everything we do now.
What hasn’t changed since then is who we design for. We’re not building events around our own taste — we take the time for every client to figure out what actually matters to them, and bring that vision to life. Your event should feel like you, and you should actually get to enjoy it.
